 Whether you’re looking to learn how to skate, play hockey or just have some fun with the family, the Port Washington Skating Center is a smaller rink with an upper deck viewing area. Family run and operated for years, your kids will feel welcome from the moment they step foot inside.

 Featuring playgrounds, tables, gazebo, and water spray features in the summer, this is a peaceful park near Plandome Road.

- Sands Point Preserve

 The Sands Point Preserve on the original Guggenheim Estate, offers a a 216-acre park with historical mansions and the Phil Dejana Learning. The non-profit, provides year-round educational and cultural programs, tours, fitness activities and private events. The Preserve offers beautiful hiking trails and tons of activities for families and adults. It is a great place to spend an afternoon, has some amazing water views and a dog run.
