Meet Alana Benjamin
Born and raised in Port Washington, real estate was ever-present in Alana’s home growing up. Her mother, Nava Mitnick, was a real estate legend, so real estate is part of her DNA.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, Alana attended Brooklyn Law School and was admitted to the bar in New York, New Jersey and Illinois. She worked in commercial litigation for 5 years and then at Bloomberg LP for 6 years specializing in contract negotiation, sales and public relations. Alana lived in so many neighborhoods including Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Midtown and then on the Upper East Side. She was convinced that her family would never leave the city. But… when space got tight and one kid turned into two (and later three!) she knew that the place she wanted to return to was her roots in Long Island.
